These are today's essentials! Today was a boring work day, so I had lots of organization and planning to do and thankfully I have my trusty Kate Spade planner to get me through in a cuter way! I also adore the Field Notes memo books, so durable and the perfect size for holding in your palm and also to stick in a pocket. Writing is so much smoother and way more comfortable thanks to my Sharpie pens, I am very happy I switched to them and I will never use anything else ever again. Lastly, my headphones because listening to those happy yet peacful tunes is so calming and brings joy and makes the day go by quicker! Just a little something I'd share with you guys today! Kate Spade Planner

Introducing my new Kate Spade planner!

Ahh finally, the unveiling of my beautiful new planner! It just arrived in the mail and I am very excited to finally take a peek at it! Cute rose wrapping paper for the delivery was a very nice touch.

Beautiful black boar leather is the material of this planner. Very sturdy and durable and I think it will hold up to almost anything. Not a very soft leather, but I believe that this was a better choice of leather for a planner. The logo on the front is also very classic, Kate Spade embossed gold on black leather, very simple yet very sleek! 

The inside of the planner is full of pink and red polka dots, very cute! The planner has to side pockets on the front and it has eight card insert holders. It is able to hold a lot, but it is also able to manage it to keep everything organized. 

The back of the planner also has another pocket for storage and a leather strap pen holder. The planner is the zip around Wellesle. Nothing will ever be lost thanks to this lovely zipper!

Summertime Tan.

Today I'd like to fill you in with some tips that I use to perfect my summertime tan! I live in an area where our summers are not very lengthy and to get a nice dark tan it might take some time. I've gone to the tanning bed a number of times and used tanning oils out in the backyard and I have also used a variety of fake tans. My skin tone easily darkens because of the specific pigment that is within, but others are not so lucky. A few steps to create a nice tan without looking to orange or fake can be very easy, but also very pricey as well. A product that I highly recommend would be the St. Tropez tanning kit.
The kit includes:

• Tan Enhancing Body Polish 75 ml
• Tan Enhancing body moisturizer 75 ml
• Self Tan Bronzing Mousse 50 ml
• 1 Tan Applicator Mitt

Step 1: Prepare skin 24 hours before tanning with an all over application of St. Tropez Tan Enhancing Body Polish followed by the Body Moisturizer.
Step 2: Immediately before applying your tan ensure skin is clean and dry. Start by applying a little moisturizer to elbows, hands, knees, ankles, feet and dry areas to protect them from absorbing too much tan.
Step 3: Apply two pumps of Bronzing Mousse to your Tan Applicator Mitt. Disperse the mousse evenly over the mitt and apply in circular motions taking care to ensure all areas are covered. Use on average two pumps per arm and four pumps per leg. The mitt will protect your hands while tanning but remember to lightly glaze it over the back of well moisturized hands and feet at the end of your application.
Wait until touch dry before getting dressed. Try not to get skin wet or sweat for at least 4 hours. For best results wear loose fitting clothing and leave on for 8 hours.
Step 4: Shower off your guide colour to reveal a perfectly natural looking golden glow. To maintain your perfect tan and ensure even fade moisturize daily, exfoliate regularly and re-apply your tan a couple of times a week.

• Lastly, this kit is very well priced and gives amazing results! 32 dollars Canadian is the going price. I will be posting results of this product within the next few days! 

Makeup Today.

Today I will be discussing makeup and lipstick that I use on a daily basis! I am a huge fan of MAC makeup and their lipsticks are to die for. Three colours that I use constantly are, Rebel, Russian Red, and Politely Pink. I adore these colours because each is unique, but all may be used during the day or at night. During the day my makeup is very minimal, but I like to dress up at night to go out and lipstick adds that finishing touch to every outfit. They say a little red lipstick goes a long way!
